Meet Coach Barry
With over 13 years of experience as a swimming instructor and 7 years as a dedicated triathlon coach, Coach Barry Lee Chun Sing is a name synonymous with endurance sports excellence in Malaysia. Starting his athletic journey at the tender age of 10, Coach Barry quickly made a mark as the youngest triathlete recognized by the Malaysia Book of Records and went on to become the world’s youngest Ironman at just 12 years old.
Coach Barry’s passion for triathlons has driven him to not only compete but also mentor the next generation of athletes. He has conducted two highly successful Triathlon Training Camps at Trivolks, his private academy, and has been a vital part of the TeamTime athlete program since March 2023.
Coach Barry’s accomplishments are a testament to his dedication and skill. He has secured multiple top positions in prestigious races, including winning the Langkawi Ironman twice, securing a slot at the Kona Hawaii Ironman World Championship, and representing Malaysia as the sole qualifier in the 2016 Kona World Championship.
