Meet Coach Brian
Lim Qi Feng, better known as Coach Brian, is a seasoned triathlon and swim coach with a decade of experience in competitive swimming. Specializing in swimming, Coach Brian has been a state representative for Malacca from 2016 to 2021, earning accolades at various national and international competitions. His passion for the sport and dedication to his athletes make him a vital part of any training program.
Coach Brian holds a Diploma in Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Science (Exercise Science) from the University of Malaya (U.M.). He has also completed the Level 1 Johor Triathlon Coaching Course and the Level 1 America Swim Coaching Association certification, solidifying his expertise in coaching.
Throughout his swimming career, Coach Brian has achieved significant milestones, including winning gold in the 5km Oceanman 2016 in Malaysia, bronze in the 1500m at the 2018 MSSM, and silver and gold in the 1500m and 400m events at the 2019 MASUM, respectively. His talent extends to the international stage, where he secured a bronze medal at the Asia Pacific Swim Championships in Perth, Australia, in 2019.
As a coach, Brian has successfully guided athletes to qualify and compete in prestigious events such as the Asia Junior Cup Triathlon, SEATA Malaysia, and MSSS Aquatics. His focus on swimming within the triathlon discipline ensures that his athletes excel in one of the most challenging aspects of the sport.
