Meet Coach Chew
An ESSA Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) and Accredited Exercise Scientist (AES) with a passion for empowering athletes to reach their full potential. His journey into triathlon began as a personal rehabilitation endeavor, where swimming and cycling became transformative tools for recovery. This experience ignited a lifelong dedication to guiding others, particularly aspiring triathletes, in achieving their goals through evidence-based training and rehabilitation techniques.
Coach Chew holds a Master’s in Clinical Exercise Physiology from The University of Western Australia, where he specialized in advanced rehabilitation services and developed a wide range of skills, including interpersonal communication and applied exercise science. He also earned a Bachelor’s in Sport and Exercise Science from Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology, equipping him with a strong foundation in rehabilitation and sports performance.
Currently, Coach Chew serves as a part-time lecturer at Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology, where he shares his expertise in sports science, presentation skills, and professional development with the next generation of practitioners. With a wealth of knowledge and practical experience, Coach Chew is dedicated to helping triathletes excel in their sport while prioritizing long-term health and performance sustainability.
